I went to the Lowes and picked up a piece of rubber hose to slip the peg over. Between the rubber hose and glue this sucker is not coming off. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 07/24/07 byTim (phaedo68) from Huntington, WV, United States, for a 2001 1500 Intruder VL1500 LC wrote: Installed in minutes. I was able to slide the OEM rubber cover off without any cutting. More than a few layers of electrical tape, some Gorilla Glue, overnight for the glue to dry and it's ready to roll. Looks great. Feels great. It's a super inexpensive part, but it really adds the overall look of the bike, especially if you have other Kuryakyn parts installed. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (5 stars) reviewed on 05/14/07 byAndrew Herrington (twistedmetal) from Kitchener, ON, for a 2002 custom paint, lots of chrome 1500 Intruder VL1500 LC wrote: Again, great Kuryakyn product, good finish and looks. When installing use electrical tape as per instructions provided, however I found it is important to use more tape at the end of the shifter where you are more likely to place your foot. This will keep the peg on a more level plain since this is the point that you will be applying the most pressure. Allen screw is extremely small so be careful not to over torque this product.
