Since I already had the Kuryakyn floorboard covers (bought from CC, great product) I wanted something similar to use on the shifter. Money were short & the solution was simple. I bought a set of parts (in black & chrome) made to complete the look of a valance (yep, the one you use to hang up curtains) from IKEA. The size was perfect, the look was perfect & all you have to do is secure it on the bare metal (remove the rubber part first) with the provided bolt. You can also use old Kuryakyn ISO-grips with a bit of modification (check photo on my profile).

Ordered two. One each for the the heel-toe shifter. Matches nicely with Iso Grips. UPDATE: did not like the heel-toe shifter so it has been replaced with a chrome lever from Yamaha.
