You have to cut off the old rubber pad and then wrap tape to two or three wraps around does it and then glue the heck out of it. It works good and looks good. Doesn't fit perfect but you can't really tell. I wrapped electrical tape around the metal peg once before glueing the cover on over. This helped and I haven't had any problems with it so I guess I'm happy. Only problem is that the vtx shifter is already really really low and this closes the gap even more.
