Recently installed this item on my bike. Looks good, gives the shifter a beefier look and the added chrome is a nice touch. Installation was a bit of a pain for me. Had to cut off the original rubber cover, no problem there. Where I did have problems is with the set screw. When it would get tight enough to keep cover from slipping, the rubber inserts started bulging out. I eventually did away with set screw and used silicone adhesive to hold it on. Be careful though, too much adhesive and it will squirt out from around the rubber inserts. That was a pain to get off!

Easy install. Added chrome looks better than the plain rubber. Needed to purchase a allen wrench to tighten down (.50).

Looks nice, but doesn't stay on as tight as it should. It doesn't fall off, but it does rotate.

Sliced off the OEM rubber and used a couple wraps of golf grip tape on the sifter. Slide it on with some grip solvent and tighten the set screw (not too tight). If you have or know somebody that can regrip golf clubs I highly recommend this method. The cover hasn't moved at all in 5 months.

Looks nicer than stock piece. Is actually quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but still looks good.

Looks much better than the stock peg cover. Mine has loosened up on me but a qucik tightening with an allen wrench is all that's needed.

Looks good with other accessories, little set screw throw away. Either glue on or wrap with electrical tape to make fit. Just cut rubber off OE shifter.
