Install was not too difficult. It took me about 1.5 hrs. I don't know why our bikes don't come like this from the factory. Really provides that extra visibility. The extra light on the rear of the bike helps those cagers that aren't paying enough attention. The only complaint that I have about this model (KY-4710) is the power splice. Kuryakyn provided a cheap "T-tap splice" connector. For the amount that this cost, they should have provided an inline splice connector. I would definitely buy this again; oh, wait I already did. I believe the running lights (order red bulbs or red lens covers) combined with the brake light flash make the bike more visible to those approaching from behind. BE AWARE THAT BY LAW AMBER REAR TURN SIGNAL LENSES MUST BE REPLACED WITH RED WHEN USED AS RUNNING LIGHTS. This is stipulated in the installation instructions and is not difficult or expensive.
