Make sure you get the RIGHT wiring harness for your application.. I had to splice the one i got... not that bad though, but it would have saved me the hassle if i had gotten the correct harness..

Works as described bought with the Kuryakyn License plate bracket for the "C". Get some red bullet crimp on connectors and everything can be done behind the right cover and no cutting involved.

I have nothing but LED's for my brake light, tail light and turn signals and this is mandatory to make your turn signals function properly. It also allows you you to use your turn signals as running lights and the rear as brake lights as well. I love the brightness of LEDs. It wasn't to hard for me, but I would recommend someone with electronics knowledge to do this. Well worth the end result.

I got this as my wife followed me home one night last spring and made the remark after we got home that I was darn near invisible more than 100 feet away. She finally admitted that she liked the bike but was afraid as she couldn't see me and was afraid others wouldn't. I highly recommend this as even in the daylight the diode running/turn signal lights are bright and when you brake it's even better. Great product that the OEM's ought to put on all bikes. I say below fairly dificult to install... what is meant is you must have patience, electrical wiring knowledge (Need OEM wire diagram, found mine on internet), have to remove rear tin and trash side reflector markers in the process (garbage anyway) oh and don't forget to ground both sides of the component and have to use (2) load controllers if you use diode turn indicators (by the way diodes much brighter and last longer than incandescents).

there are a couple of reasons that my review is not a five. first, I needed to extend the wires to hide the unit away. Second, the pulsing break light setting is a very slow pulse. other that those two items the unit works great and I would buy it again.

Received this as a Christmas gift, just finished installing it. I read many reviews on this product and many said that it was very difficult to install. Sorry guys but I beg to differ, took me about 2 hours but that's because I like working slow and enjoying the time I spend customizing my bike. You must look at your bike and locate the wires check a schematic etc. If you don't do the prep for sure your work will be in vane. I did the prep, hooked everything up it worked perfectly right off the bat. Don't be afraid guys worse comes to worse you can always pay someone to install it for you. I like the security of having 2 additional tail lights and the blinking effect when the brake is applied.
