However, in my opinion, you are giving up a certain amount of visibility over the stock ones (at least until you get used to them). I had a hard time with the very small allen key slot that holds the actual mirror in place. I had to use some unforeseen measures in order to get the mirrors to finally stay put. When I finally went out for a ride, the left mirror dangled off and I had to return home to tightened it all over again. A bit disappointing to be quite honest. As strange as it sounds, it almost feels as if the allen key provided is not compatible for the slot. I hope you don't have the same issue. Best bet: use some locktite and maybe you'll avoid this issue. Overall, had I known about the "challenge" to get these in place, I probably would have skipped on them. (5 stars) reviewed on 12/19/11 byBrad (redrocker12) from Youngstown, OH, United States, for a 2010 Metallic Red Fury 1300 Fury VT1300 wrote: I bought these mirrors for my 2010 Honda Fury. You never know until you install them, but these turned out to be one of the best accessories I have purchased for my Fury. First, they look bad ass, are very high quality and have minimal vibration even at high speeds. Second, and more importantly, these mirrors extend out much wider than the stock mirrors and give me much greater visibility in all areas. With the stock mirrors I would see both of my shoulders no matter how I adjusted them. The Kuryakyn mirrors completely eliminate this problem. I would rate them an A++ and would recommend them to anyone who has a Fury or a similar problem. You will be highly satisfied with your purchase. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? I Installed them on a set of "One-Off" Handlebar Lee 20" Cordovas. Installation was a breeze (Kuryakyn KY-1413 Metric Adaptors Required for Yamaha VSTAR). Chrome finish is Top Notch and besides their vicious look, they have great adjustability in any direction. You can see them on my VSTAR 1300 by doing a Search Community: KURYAKYN SCYTHE MIRRORS on CC.com. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I just wish I had bought these first and saved all the money I blew on teardrops that made me quite uneasy because I simply couldn't see a thing out of them. Easy to install and large enough to see whats behind you. They aren't much smaller than the stock VTX mirrors but add a nice look. I have a few "zombie" accessories on my bike and the scythe kind of goes with the theme. I thought the "zombie" mirrors were a bit much and would be overkill so I went with the scythes and they look great!!! They are solid and not a lot of vibration.
