I had to cut the leads to the battery and solder about one foot of wire so it would reach the other side of my tank. But people do notice the bike now. Great for safety at night. (5 stars) reviewed on 04/25/11 byMurph (jamurphy21) from Jacksonville, FL, United States, for a 2004 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Love this kit. It was very simple to install. Make sure you match the wire colors when connecting to save yourself the trouble of redoing after it is already installed like I did. They provide everything you need if you do mess up, but a 30 min install turned into an hour because I wasn't paying attention. Looks great, and so far, works great. I had one of the lights stop working for about 30 seconds while going down the road the other day, but it came back on and hasn't done it since, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. This is a real eye catcher, and gets tons of compliments. Great addition. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The rheostat can be used to adjust how quickly the lights fade from one to the next. Carefully engineered to draw very little current, there is no need to worry about draining your bikes battery (provided the battery is in good condition and the lights are not left for more than a couple hours). Instructions were good. Kurakyn provided you with all that you will need for basic install. You might also consider getting big zip ties and wire-lum. The lighting effect is awsome. Well worth it. Quality is good. Came with plenty of wiring, connectors, and spare double sided tape. Install took some planning but the results are worth it. Some of the double sided tape has failed, but luckily I saved the extra and it is an easy fix. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
