The instructions for the install are not clear as they could be. They really could use more pictures as well I did not receive the full instructions with the intake. Nor did they supply info on how to jet my carburetor which was fine I was able to find a great walk thru online. the mounting bracket that holds the filter in place as well as the skull case seem retardedly engineered. The bolts mount from the motorcycle side out.. Why I don't know seems logical to go the other way. A lot of the threading is also poorly done. I do however love the look and hope the pain of installing it is worth it in the end. Follow up: I finished the install however I decided to go against the instructions as I did not plan to take off my gas tank every time the air filter needed to be changed. I drilled out the threads in the filter mounting plate and used 3 nuts and bolts instead as this way any servicing to the filter would be quick and Ez... Note: These kits contain an all-chrome Skull Air Cleaner, mounting kit, & carburetor jetting necessary for a complete, sanitary installation. For optimum performance & driveability on fuel injected motorcycles, we strongly recommend use of the Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller KY-9218
