Excellent lights. Pointed them a little downwards and outwards for increased illumination area to better keep an eye out for deer. Mounted on forks. Don't forget to order the mounting hardware and a wiring kit (with relay) from Kuryakyn too. Oh, The description on this site is wrong in the wattage of bulb. The small bullets use an 20W MR11 Halogen bulb (24 degree illumination I think, bulb number does not specify). Update: I have changed over to the large bullets and have changed over to LEDs (not found in any of the motorcycle supply houses). The LEDs are equal to about 40W halogen for about 500mW of power. Gotta love LEDs :)

I mounted these inside the crash bars on my Wife's Magna. I had a hard time locating an ignition hot wire, so I wired it to a battery powered wire and drilled a hole in the right side frame cover (just before the forks) and mounted the on/off there. Of course, there was one incident of a dead battery-we're both used to it now. Use some caution with the mounts, if you overtorque them the chrome plating will crack.

Look great and work great. Instructions a little misleading though. On my bike the lights are not grounded through the fender. Had to attach ground wire around mounting bolt.

I replaced both my front and rear signals with these. Love the look and they are bright. You will need a conversion kit for the front so the lights function as both running lights and turn signals. Make sure you purchase the correct model. One has the wire passing thru a hollow mounting bolt and the other has the wire exiting the light behind the bolt. I used the the hollow bolt on the rear and the other on the front forks with the c-claps.

I got the universal "large" for front running lights. They are very bright with the 55 watt bulbs. I had cars flashing their headlights at me so I order the replacement 20 watt bulbs and they seem to work well. They are still bright and I changed the wiring so they are wired to the turn signals. I blew a fuse a while back on the headlight and lost all lights up front at night. Now, if a fuse blows on the headlight (which has not happen but once) then the bullet lights are still on. When wiring to turn signals they will turn off on the side of the turn signal you are using. Once you turn the turn signal off the light on that side comes back on. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I feel that by the light turning off during the use of the turn signal as a good thing. People will see the turn signal better......

These lights rock! What else can one say. They are bright, the finish is great, and they can be mounted almost anywheres with the right adapters from Kuryakyn. New ones now come without the visor trim, but can be purchased seperately and are available for any position, ie, side, top, bottom mountings. They can be used as turn signals as well with their option kit.
