haven't installed them yet, but the pegs are heavy duty and appear to be strong on the pivot with a latch to prevent accidental movement, I also like the way they look. will update after use --UPDATE these pegs are nice but they don't work for me, they are loose (needs spacers) & when in the closed position peg is so wide I'm hitting my shins better for forward mount pegs I have mid mounts
