The tappet blocks bolt on, but the chrome engine cover comes with 2-sided tape which is kinda hard to get it where it goes and make it stick. It is chrome though. (5 stars) reviewed on 08/23/07 byFrankie Diaz (nerves) from Jacksonville, FL, United States, for a 2001 Gold 1600/1700 Road Star wrote: like almost every thing made by Kuryakyn, the install will take some time. The alchohol pad are not sufficient to clien the entire area properly, but you can easyly get this done on your own. the block covers need some "coaching" to install and the instruction a in my opinion, a little "light" on the process. Still it's not rocket science and it should take you between 30-45 minutes if you have a BAK of hyper charger. Looks great. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 06/01/07 byCHARLES PATTERSON (BLKFLEX) from Florissant, MO, United States, for a 2001 1600/1700 Road Star wrote: Installation was easy. You need to make sure you have it placed exactly where you want it as the double stick tape is very strong and very hard to remove. After 24 hours of curing you can pretty much give up on repositioning it. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
