(5 stars) reviewed on 11/01/05 byROBERT PERKINS (AZPerk3) from TUCSON, AZ, United States, for a 2006 Pearl-White 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: The Tombstone is very handy and I use it to keep my pant and jacket pockets empty and items that I may need during a ride easily available. My main use is for the back rest capability. The bag isnt very big but it is very useful. Ilike it ... for longer rides I use a T-Bag in Conjunction with the Tombstone and my saddlebags. I've used the bag on a Labor Day weekend trip of about 800 miles; really appreciated the backrest feature. Very easy to attach to passenger pillion on my V Star. He put one of the spare zip on back pads between the end of the bag and the sissy bar before strapping it down. Everything stays put and he gets his backrest where he needs it. Second, attaching the side bags is a bit of a chore on initial setup. I'm all thumbs, so getting the strap looped through the d-rings while inside the pouch was a bit awkward. However, once you get them sinched down, they really become part of the bag - no wor... Review Details 11 out of 11 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
