Works great, need a bit of mechanical and electrical skill to install. If you can't do it yourself then ask the dealer, about an hour on the labor.

As I said I'd update my fix by replacing the electronic flasher with the stock one and two equilizers. It seems to be working good. I went on a 300 mile day trip, no problems. Sure lights up the back at night. Go for it.

Like I said I'd write an update if any problems came up. I rode about 20 miles and my signals stopped working. No I did not leave them on for "extended periods of time". The front light would come on when I hit the signal but no flash, the rear did not work. It was cold when I got home so I put off trouble shooting. I reasoned it all out in my mind after consulting the factory wiring diagram. I hoped and reasoned it was the electronic flasher. I am using two load equilizers with LED bulbs so I went back to the stock flasher. So far it is fixed and turn signals appear to be working fine. We have had some bad weather and I have been busy with work and other time eating crap to really try an all day ride. I'll update trouble.

I believe a five star is in order for now. I'll update if any problems come up. Just finished install. Looks great and relatively easy. Big concern was water proofing the connectors, used that "mirical tape". I use LEDs and already have an electronic flasher so I though a load equilizer would not be needed. I had to use two of them. Once I insalled the equilizers all worked great. I am like another reviewer, deep dish fronts are on my list.

I like these -- they're great for safety and look nice on bike... add to chrome. Other drivers have commented on them and like the flashing feature for added safety.

Easy install. Great product. Pretty much Plug-N-Play. Always better to have more visibility while on 2 wheels. I would buy again.

Overall this is a great item. The installation itself was moderately easy on my vtx13300r as the only tool you really need is a phillips screwdriver, but you should also have a few other items mentioned below. The wiring colors on the Kuryakyn basically matched 1 for 1 with the vtx which made mapping the wired easy. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I went through the steps of determining the wire functions separately... but I guess that's still a good thing to do. Only one wire is different... a white wire is used for one of the grounds on the turn signals as to prevent you from crossing it with the green ground on the other turn signal. A good move on Kuryakyn's part yet I wish they noted it in the manual. I did have to use the provided equalizer and found a great place to strap it to the vertical frame tube to act as a heat sink as the manual recommends. I like the replacement turn signals. The clear red glass is so much brighter than the stock prism amber. I definitely feel...

(6/08) - Just installed this on my 07 VTX1300R. Took my time and it went well, but I think one must have some electrical savy. Like the fact I did not have to cut / splice wires or poke through insulation. It installs between existing connectors, so if I ever need to remove it I can return to pre-existing condition. So far it works as advertised - very happy with the operation.

Instructions were easy to follow. Didn't have to splice any wires. Really like the look this gives the turns signals over the standard ugly amber lenses!

Purchased 2/23/08. Wanted more visibility at the rear. This really fits the bill. The lenses do change the overall look of the bike. I really like them. Purchased the front ones to match. Awesome. Replaced the Clear Alternative lenses & amber bulbs. Much brighter!

I rode for the first time in a very, very heavy rain on the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This unit "shorted out", and made my brake light and both rear turn signals stay on bright. Only way to "fix" it was to remove it and reconnect the stock lighting. Returned it to dealer, who replaced it for free. Hopefully they sealed it better against water this time.
