This is a great way to power cell phones, mp3 players, gps, any of those accessories we all like to use on our handlebars. The chrome accents on this accessory look awesome on my bike. This is also a great place to use a battery tender instead of having to attach to your battery, just plug into this power adapter and your all set. Depending on how you route this to your battery you may have to uninstall your gas tank to run the wiring underneath as I did. I highly recommend this power point.

Sits a little high. (or low depending on how you mount it) figured out a way to make it a little less obtrusive but it could stand some redesign improvements. No quality problems. Solid.

This is a great addition to any bike. I had one on my VN900 for 2" years. It is easy to install and is simple to operate. I use it for cigar lighting and GPS power. The only downside is the cigars have to be ring size 40 or smaller :). There are two cables that are connected with SAE2 connectors. One is a short cable connected to the battery; I use this to power a small air compressor and to connect a battery charger. The only real downside of the unit is that when mounted to the handlebars, it will leave marks on the bar. Make sure you mount it where you want it.

Excellent fit and look! Comes with a 10 amp blade fuse which might be needed to change to a 15 amp if you wish to power up a tyre compressor eg Slime unit 40020 which has an inbuilt 15 amp fuse within its own plug for the Kuryakyn unit

Very nice item. Solid construction, with plenty of wire lead. Blends right in with the bike like it was from the factory.

Easy to install. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but still looks good with the chrome and bullet design. So far it works great. I can charge my cell phone, ipod etc. The vibration sometimes causes the USB adapter to slide out of the port so you have to check it every so often.

As long as you have a clear concealed route from your handle bars to your battery, it's a no brainer. On my V-Star 1100, I removed the seats and the tank to get that path.
