Easy to install, and needed when you have saddlebags on the back of the bike. Otherwise, your bags will stick up over the helmet and it's difficult to attach and remove. Great buy for me!

Works good but does rattle a little(can't hear it much with loud pipes). There's not a very good place to mount it on my bike. I had to mount it upside down on my 1" handlebars. It looks like an add-on, but it's not too noticable. If you want to replace the one-way bolts with regular bolts, they are one inch long 8-32 bolts.

the 1 thing i found out about this is u cant install it on bars less than 1 1/4 inch bars i tried them on my 1 inch handle bars and it was 2 big i was gonna give it to my uncle for his bike but they wouldnt fit his engine guard that was 1 inch tried it also just to make sure i have 1 1/4 crash bar and it fit i was a lil dissappointed with the 7/8 to 1 1/4 fitment they claimed but overall it serves the purpose if u got on bags and cant reach the factory lock

Have two, one on each side of engine bar, blend in and work well. Lock is a bit stiff at first - will break in, use a little WD 40.

I don't have much to say about this little thing, a friend of mine bought it for me as a gift. It works well, however I recently removed it because I stripped my bike down so that is a one person bike, so no use I for saddle bags anymore but this piece is great when you do have them on. It eliminates the hassle of having to life the bags everytime you want to lock your helmet up.

Works great, looks great too. I mounted mine on the handle bar, centered between the risers. I never worry about someone stealing my helmet now!

The one I got from JC Whitney doesn't fit anywhere on my bike. DO NOT BUY it from them unless you have something in the 50cc range. I have to try out Kurykyn or a helmet chain.

Bought similar product from lockitt.com for $11.99 Easy to install. I covered the old lock with bags, and needed a new one. Installed it on the front frame right side near the air filter cover.
