There's not a very good place to mount it on my bike. I had to mount it upside down on my 1" handlebars. It looks like an add-on, but it's not too noticable. It works well, however I recently removed it because I stripped my bike down so that is a one person bike, so no use I for saddle bags anymore but this piece is great when you do have them on.
