Fits nicely on the handlebars. One of the 1st accessories I bought, as I needed to lock my helmet as Yamaha's is useless w/the saddlebags covering the stock ones.

It's a lock and key. Descent construction....good key action. I mounted it on my Linby bars.

Simple installation. Bought this for my father as his hard bags were covering his helmet lock. Great product. It will keep the honest people honest. If somebody really wants your helmet, they will get it. Hardest part was finding where to mount it. Like me, he has the Lindby Bars installed and we really had to work to find a place to mount it that would keep it off of the front fender. Ended up with the exhaust side down tube. Honestlly looks like it could be stock or deisgned to be there. Only problem was the one-way screws...Tighten them evenly as I didn't...tightened the top screw, then went to the bottom and reallized that I had put too many turns on the top screw and it isn't even. Most wouldn't even notice...I do, but likely because I installed it. No functional problem.

finally, a good place to keep your helmet safe. Not sure what Yamaha was thinking burying the orignal under the saddle bags.

solid. need if you have saddle bags cuz they cover the stock helmet lock, mounted mine to the engine guard (left side so helmet doesn't rest against hot engine when parked). pick your location carefully because it mounts with one-way screws, once its on its on.

With saddlebags installed lost teh use of the OEM helment lock, so purchased these. I chose to install on the rear turn signal bar, one on each side, to balance out the look. Looks good on the bike and gets the job done. Very easy to install. I did change bolts from the one-way install to standard screws. Don't like to install anything on my bikes that can't be removed easly later.
