Picked up the lock since I figured it would be a great "add on"....it is, but warning to all, you need some kind of crazy screw driver to remove the screws once installed if you plan on moving the lock to another spot.....Right now it's sitting where I left it because I don't have this special tool to unscrew it.....A regular screw driver will work putting it on but it wont to unscrew. one more tool to buy.

Nice, inexpensive, easy to install - but make sure you have it where you want it before you install - or switch out the screws first.

Once you add saddle bags, the OEM helmet lock is useless. This corrects the problem quite nicely!

After 6 months the locking arm just fell off. Now I just use it as something to hang my helmet over. Do not buy.

I did not put it on any of the down tubes or handle bars. I put it on the gusset on the left front side just below the fuel tank, I drilled and tapped two holes to match the screws that came with the lock. It fits good and holds the helmet close to the bike and is not against the exhaust pipes.

I purchases this directly from Kuryakn, as I needed a new helemt lock since my Leatherlykes covered the old one. I placed it on the left side of the handlebars -- almost looks like it belongs there. Very easy to install. Very satisfied.
