(5 stars) reviewed on 02/07/11 byDrew (USDSUQ) from SF Bay Area, CA, United States, for a 2008 Black/Chrome 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: Tried it last night had problems with throttle sticking in place. I have leather throttle covers on, which I thought would have no bearing with use with this product, but causes sticking throttle. It was late so I will retry/explore further using this product in daylight. Think it has to do with end of throttle being stationary, may have to trim leather cover (http://www.chilhowee.net/grip-covers.html). It felt great on the hand until I noticed no decealeration. I have brakeway cruise control and wanted this for in-town riding. Update 02-07-11: Pulled it back in about 3/4" no problem, hit middle of palm but works. It's made of rubber. Wondered if I ever really needed the breakaway cruise control. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 03/21/10 by(Boatdoctor) from North-West, WI, United States, for a 2006 1800 VTX1800C wrote: I've put this on the outside and inside of the throttle. I like it inside better, but it's a bit obtrusive. So I'm glad I didn't go any wider. It's OK on long highway trips, but around town where you're constantly braking and throttling, it gets in the way. Rubber slips more than what I would want as well. Nice that it's quick release.
