There are built-in "grippers" to keep the Boss from sliding on the grip. Very easy to install. It may take some time to get it into the "just right position". I don't have this exact one, as I have the "Throttle Rocker". Works the same way and let's me rest my fingers. Fits excellent on the palm of your hand. One of the best buys I've made for my bike and riding pleasure.
