(5 stars) reviewed on 08/02/04 byChap from Selma, TX, United States, for a 2001 Kawasaki Drifter 1500 Vulcan Drifter wrote: Get on e'bay & find a tombstone taillight for $25 bucks & insall it. Although I love the Kuryakyn tombstone, i'm not spending $100 bucks on it. I got my taillight for like $40 bucks on e'bay, with the skull cover. Removed my stock taillight, cut the harness off, fabricatied it to the tombstone, done. Bolted right up. I've done this to 3 bikes now ( '98 750 Ace, 2002 Drifter 800, & my 2002 Drifter 1500 ) all with no problems. Review Details 9 out of 11 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 06/11/04 byrat (trat51) from , TN, United States, for a 1300 Royal Star Boulevard wrote: I bought this direct from Kuryakyn and I bought the one that they list for a Yamaha. I installed it and the instulation was very easy, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I also bought two small silver buillets to use for turn signals. The whole thing worked out very well. The only thing that could be improved is some kind of hole plugs be included in the kit. When you install this light it doesn't complety cover the two holes in the fender where the wires come through on the OEM light and it takes some creative enginering to come up with something to plug these holes and still look good. Or you could bondo and repaint it you wanted to go that far. That would look best and I may do that this winter. Review Details 16 out of 16 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 06/08/04 byYucaju (yucaju) from San Antonio, TX, United States, for a 1993 1500 Vulcan (A-C) wrote: Purchased the Tombstone Light without the turn signal, as I already had front and back Kuryakyn Silver Bullets on the bike. This light is very good looking over the ugly stock square job. Also is very bright so I feel better about being seen. Installation was easy, and it fit like a glove. Drilling of the fender is required. Placed them slightly higher than the Stock Taillight and adjusted the license plate to cover the stock light's mounting holes. Kuryakyn quality is great much better than the old stock turn signal! Review Details 7 out of 8 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
