Utilised this wiring kit for my two 4 1/2 " passing lights rather than overload my headlight circuit. Found it much easier to remove my tank which gave me a clear working area. Placed switch under tank easy to reach for on/off use.

Purchased to ease the installation of my Kury light bar. The instructions from Kury are crap and almost completley useless. I ended up hacking this wiring kit to pieces to get it to do what it needs to do: The two black ground wires (attached to a single ring connector) are not needed. Remove them from the assembly. I shortened the white wire with ring connector (attached to the inline fuse) as it only needed to be about 6 inches long. I did the same thing for the black ground wire that goes from the negative (-) terminal to the relay. I soldered the two white power wires from directly to the power lines from the light bar. The red wire coming from the switch, I ran into the headlight housing and attached to the low beam wire (green in the Vstar). I attached my switch to the frame just under the tank on the right side. It's not the best switch nor the best location, nor the best attachment. Very soon I will replace with a push button switch mounted to the speedo housin...

Had a lot of trouble with it. Installed and removed twice. Tried a number of switched power sources and ground points with no luck... Came to the conclusion that either the switch or the relay where faulty. Explained this to Cruiser Customizing and they accepted the return with no problems.

Very necessary if you want that the drivin light bar works correctly. You will need some minutes for a good istallation.
