I liked the simplicity of this wiring unit but I'm disappointed with the fact that the rocker-switch adheres with double-face tape (not supplied). Since this is a "universal" harness, they don't give you specific instructions for a particular application, so I found a "Cruiser Customizing" video on youtbe.com that demostrated the installation on a VTX. Just tapped into the OEM turns and so far its working fine. Got power from inside the headlight where there is a connector thats not used and its hot. I did not use the switch provided. I bought a push button, weather sealed switch. I drilled the proper sized hole in the speedo housing opposite the Odometer switch and screwed it in there.
