I would have given excellent across the board, but knocked a point on ease of install for not including a schematic. The text description does a good job of IDing the wires for you but a schematic would have been easier to read IMHO. Update: Set aside three hours for install if you want to do a professional grade job. Dont rush it, cut wires to the correct length as you go along. Because this is desgned as a universal kit the wires are probably longer than you'll need. Have a soldering iron, electrical solder, and some heat shrink handy for customizing the wires to your bike. (I dont like quick connects or crimp connects normally). Along with the tools to remove the seat and tank. A Clymer service manual helps for identifing wires too. I removed the switch from the kit and wired the relay to the wire that comes from the start switch. (The wire that feeds the High/Low beam switch.) This way the bullet lights come on when the regular lights do, as well as turn ... Review Details 10 out of 10 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I used this with a pair of 50w Vizor lights on a pair of Kuryakyn P clamps as driving lights. The only thing I didn't like was where I had to mount the switch because of the pre determined length of the wires. The switch is also not esily attached anywhere, just a black box with a rocker switch and wires out the back. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. UPDATE June 1, 2004 - I did most the wiring for this under the seat. I attached the relay and all the black grounds to a convenient bolt. I traced the wires back from the ignition switch to under the seat also. You have to slice open the black casing in order to access the constant power and the switched power from the ignition switch. I used a 12 volt Automotive tester to see which wire was which. I then tapped into the appropriate wire using the provided connectors. I ran the lightbar power wires back under the gas tank on the right hand side following the hoses that are existing. I had to add more wire to the lightbar power wires in order to get them under the seat. Grounding the lightbar is unecessary as this is done through the chassis. There are actually 2 black ground wires in the harness that are not needed because of this. I located the switch on the right hand side sticking out from under the seat...I am not happy with this loca... Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
