(4 stars) reviewed on 02/11/09 bySetrocana (setrocana) from Mount Vernon, WA, United States, for a 2003 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Very straight forward. Read the directions. Cover your tank with a towel or blanket. The handlebars are heavy, and kind of fall when the nuts come off. The caps for the fork tubes are a very tight fit. Had to tap on with a block of wood and hammer. The small set screw has just about zero use after that. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 07/03/08 byTodd Ridner (tridner) from Lambertville, MI, United States, for a 2002 Illusion Blue 1800 VTX1800C wrote: Upper tree cover did not completely go down on the outside edges of forks (approx. 1/8 inch gap at bottom), so it looks like it tapers from the gaps down to the center of the cover, which completely covers the upper tree. I saw no way to adjust this. Lower tree cover bolt hole openings did not align well with lower tree and headlight mounting brackets, which made the installation a little bit of a hassle. Also had to bend edges of lower tree covers to line up with each other before installing. Kury should make some type of link or cover to take care of the gap between the two pieces.
