The bar is smooth...and so are the risers, so be sure to take a box wrench and slip it over the allen wrench for more leverage when tightening the bolts. I used 5 1/2 inch pullback risers and the bolts had chrome covers over the bolt heads...did not see these on line got them from the Honda shop $40. I did a lot of guessing on the distances and luckily my clutch and break cables were right on. Well worth the effort!!
