I didn't think that moving the controls & floorboards 3 " forward would have made that much of a difference but it really did. My legs are in a more relaxed position now. One caveat, although I didn't installed it myself, the mechanic who did told me that the bracket that holds the brake cylinder did not respect the angle of its original place. He had to fiddle with it a lot and I ended up sacrificing a little braking power so it could work properly (I have to press harder to lock the rear wheel). This item provided leg room and I kept the original floorboard. The only problem was with the higwaybar and the fender. I had to cut a little bit of the rear side of the fender, to avoid hits against the crashbar...comfort and safe first, now I can ride well.
