The instructions are a little off, it says to put the spacer at the top and one on the left side if you do that it is not centered. You have to put the two spacers on the bottom and on my 2008 Vulcan I had to find another rubber spacer to put on the top. Now I had a chance to ride with it installed I find that the rubber for the foot rests is too chose to the center they need to be spred out to the edge of the bars
