I need to get smaller riding boots and fix my rear brake light now. On the left side, my boot will not easily fit between the engine guard and the shift lever. Adjusting the shift lever makes missing shifts a common curance. What a pain. I noticed while riding at night by my brake light is now always on. The mounting brackets fit between the frame and the forward controls. Due to the thickness of the brackets. They must be moving the forward controls out a good 1/8" to 3/32".
