This lowered rear spring kit is a must have for the Star Stryker motorcycle. This lowered rear spring is a direct replacement for the stock Stryker spring. The lowered spring not only improves the look of your Star motorcycle, but you will find the ride is more firm and not as bouncy. Whether you're riding alone or carrying a passenger and luggage, you're going to enjoy the new look and ride of your Star Stryker. Your Stryker will look and feel more like a Sports car.

The lowered spring will lower your Star motorcycle 1.5". We suggest using a 240 tire to complete the Star Stryker geometry. You can install this 240 tire with no modification to the motorcycle. This larger tire will not only look fatter, but the overall diameter will be taller, which will make the rear fender fit the rear wheel better. You will also get improved handling and a softer ride.

• Does the lowered spring offer a harder ride?
  We would describe the ride to feel firm, not hard like a hardtail bike. You still have the option with your pre-load adjustment to make the ride softer or stiffer.
  
• Can I order a heaver spring than normal?
  Yes, we offer a XL spring for those that carry passengers the majority of the time.
  
• How do I tune the spring in for my riding style?
  The pre-load setting is the best way to set your preferred comfort. This can be done by putting the bike on a jack to lift the rear wheel and rotating the top adjustment to a softer setting.
  
• How much will this spring lower the bike?
  This lowered spring will lower the bike at the rear 1.5".
  
• Can I install this lowered rear spring my self?
  Yes, the install is very easy, but you will need a bike jack, shop press and some basic shop tools.
