Job Description

You will create and execute all online marketing activities, initiatives and campaigns designed to profitably acquire and retain engaged members.

Strategies:

  • Leverage new channels, partnerships and media to drive customer engagement & direct sales.
  • Develop a sense of community among customers and prospects.
  • Build presence in the online community & increase membership.

Core Competencies:

  • Solid marketing background and experience with web development and graphic design.
  • Utilize strong understanding of trends for all online marketing mediums - e-commerce, email, social networking, blogs, search engine and affiliate marketing.
  • Manage email marketing program.
  • Optimize and expand paid and natural search engine advertising.
  • Create viral marketing, contests, sweepstakes & online promotions.
  • Increase traffic & conversion rate.
  • Create how-to videos.
  • Develop community advocacy.
  • Use robust analytical skills to analyze and report on web site conversion metrics, analytics & ROI.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years demonstrating progressive technical online marketing responsibilities leading to:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a senior level online marketing position in an e-commerce B2C environment.
