I reused the actual socket, with the new bracket from this kit. The socket I had uses an attached rubber stopper to keep it dry inside. This item only comes with the actual plugin lighter, and I put that in my windshield bag. Theres a perfect spot on the Vstar 1300 to mount one of these, I'll try to post a picture. A little pricey.
