You can move your foot in multiple locations really. Makes the bike seem bigger. Installation directions were a bit of a joke. But if you are somewhat mechanically inclined it should be no problem. Does put your legs into more of a straight up and down position, which leaves more of a bend to your knee. For those that like the stretched out feel, this is not an accessory for you. For those that like their whole foot supported and don't like having to slip your foot under the shifter, these are really nice.
