I used this along with the Hondaline Chrome Front Fender Ornament and the Hondaline Chrome Front Fender Rear Tip. The three pieces really dress-up the front fender. WARNING: If you do not have spokes or some type of holes in your mag wheel that will allow you to reach from the clutch side THROUGH to the brake side, you will NOT be able to install the rear nut on the brake side. Installation tips: Place blue painter's tape around the front and sides of the fender incase you lose your grip on the piece and it falls on your fender...ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! The bolts you remove from the fender are M8 X 1.25 X 40 mm and the bolts provided are M8 X 1.25 X 55 mm. I would only insert enough bolt to slip the bracket onto, as you have squeeze it in order to clear the bolts...the more threads you have showing, the more you have to sqeeze. As far as installing it, it went easy untill the nut behind the front breaks. That was a BEAR! Don't take all the bolts off at once, like the directions sugest, try one at a time. Ended up taking front wheel off to finally thread bolts in correctly. That said, I would still buy it again. Looks great on the bike along with the Hondaline rear rail and front and back fender chrome. Makes the fenders really stand out with that retro look.
