Like other members, the instructions are junk. Use your head. They go on quite easily. After I put on the highway pegs, very nice.

If you have a shadow ace tourer with the oem windshield, plan on trimming the portion of the shield below each turnsignal. The clearance between the botton on the turnsignal and the top of the bar is 1/8". I trimmed and the shield turned out nice without that piece. Bar fits nice. A little tight on installing the top nuts for the bar. Even with my big fingers i was able to do without buying longer bolts. call the vender concerning the bar fitting with the shield. they where confident it would fit. no way. they where wrong. very happy how the bar looks and the retro on the shield turned out nice. time:2.5 hrs -- cjd

The manufacture claims that this part is for my model of bike, but I tend to disagree. Once the part is installed it catches on my windshield. I contacted MC Enterprises about this and they said that the part was meant to be installed without an AFTERMARKET windshield. My bike came with a factory windshield I told them and they proceded to tell me I was wrong and that the previous owner of my bike must have put on the windshield and I was just not aware of this. After many emails and having them send me pictures of bikes without windshields that were not pics of my model bike I finally sent them a factory spec. on my bike which cleary states that it comes with and shows a picture of the windshield. MC's respone was OH. Give us a call and we'll try and work this out. Not we are gonna work this out and get ahold of you with a solution. I like the part it is what I wanted but I would have expected it to fit just right based on the fact that they claim it is for my bike. I will trim my ...

The installation of this item was semi easy. The instructions that came with the product although they said it was for my bike the instructions were only somewhat relevant. I have the item installed and it catches on my windshield. At full lock i.e. when you park your bike, the windshield is forced to flex out at least 2". Not pretty at all.

My purpose for putting an engine guard on my bike was to have a place to mount road pegs. For this reason, I chose the M/C guard instead of the Cobra. I think the Cobra guard sticks out way too far for proper peg location. For this purpose, the M/C guard is perfect. I've got the Kuryakyn Dually pegs with offset mounts, mounted on the guard and the resulting riding position is very comfortable. An added surprise of this was that I can do all my upshifting with the rear of my boot...too cool! I've got the Cobra floorboards on my bike, but find that, since mounting the M/C guard and the Kuryakyn pegs, I keep my feet on them about 95% of the time. Be sure you have an extra set of hands available for the installation....they'll be needed.

This engine guard is considerably narrower than the Cobra. Bar is actually more heart shaped than shown in the picture. Highway pegs will need to mounted to the ouside of the bar with adjustable angle mounts to make them level. This bar does not interfere with the stock A.C.E. tourer windshield. Installation was moderately easy- took less than 1 hour. fit was good.

Not to bad to install. I picked this up used and in great shape. Realy a lucky find. The one I found is smaller than the full size one and made to fits "T"s with the full windshield that wraps around the turn signals. MC use to make this smaller model but stoped about a 1 1/2 years ago.

They use the same holes as the Cobra Floor boards, fortunately it's almost the same thickness as the spacer provided for the boards, so installed without front spacer and everything was fine

Difficult installation. Like the look on the T....does not stick out as far as other makes (i.e. Cobra). I got a lot of queries on this while at Honda Homecoming from other T owners. I would recommend this product despite intallation difficulty.

Nice quality , installation bit on tough side any three mount holes line up but forth one real pain , really need two people and bit of patience to do job quickly !! , MC /cobra all same , any three mount points will line up but forth real bummer !!! I like M/C version tapers in couple inches at bottom where as Cobra rather square , gives more streamlined /sporty look to ""T"".
