The picture does not do it justice. They look great and give an older styling to the bike as compared to the sharper angled bars. My natural concern was clearance when cornering but I haven't had any scraping yet. Hope I never have to actually use them.

Easy installation, makes the bike look bigger. Cant wait for the pegs to get here, so I can stretch out in long rides.

Very easy to install, it took 20 minutes by myself. If you do this be sure to use a threadlock type product. They fill out the front of the bike very well. Just need to pick some pegs to go on them.

This is a heavy duty engine guard with a custom look and is superior to Yamaha's. I took my time with the intallation which took me about an hour. The quality of the manufacturing was apparant in the close tolerances, which made for a snug fit. I used the shipping box on my garage floor to protect against scratching the chrome during installation. Lock-tight is highly recommended.

Purchased these during Cruiser Customizing scratch & dent sale. Part arrived in good condition but had been bent out of shape during shipping so the holes didn't line up. They didn't take much to get back into shape. Installation was very easy otherwise. They look great on the bike. There is no touching on full lock even with driving lights there is good clearance. Be careful when cornering as they touch down earlier than the footboards. I touched them down on my first ride out with them (ooops)!

Did what it was supposed to do when I dumped the bike in May; skinned it down to below the chrome, so it's worth the money. The tank on my bike is so wide, I'm going to need the footpegs on the bars because it's difficult to rest my feet on them.

Just installed the engine guard and fit like a glove. Can be done by one person, but would be easier to have another set of hands. I used a portion of the box it came in to protect the chrome from the cement floor; and, also a microfiber cloth to protect the front fender just in case. Used the original bolts from the bike as they were the same size as the ones provided. Also, be sure to use lock tite on the bolts when reinstalling. Now all I have to do is ride it!...which I'm heading off to do.
