The picture does not do it justice. They look great and give an older styling to the bike as compared to the sharper angled bars. My natural concern was clearance when cornering but I haven't had any scraping yet. Hope I never have to actually use them.

Easy installation, makes the bike look bigger. Cant wait for the pegs to get here, so I can stretch out in long rides.

Purchased these during Cruiser Customizing scratch & dent sale. Part arrived in good condition but had been bent out of shape during shipping so the holes didn't line up. They didn't take much to get back into shape. Installation was very easy otherwise. They look great on the bike. There is no touching on full lock even with driving lights there is good clearance. Be careful when cornering as they touch down earlier than the footboards. I touched them down on my first ride out with them (ooops)!

Did what it was supposed to do when I dumped the bike in May; skinned it down to below the chrome, so it's worth the money. The tank on my bike is so wide, I'm going to need the footpegs on the bars because it's difficult to rest my feet on them.

Replaced my Yamaha guards with this one. Very nice for the price. Fitted them myself in about 60 minutes using my original bolts. The driving lights get close to the guard on full lock but there is enough space that I don't have to move them. The bike looks bigger and I am now thinking of some wind covers to deflect te colder winds.

Went with these over the Yamaha guards, as the Yamaha guards didn't extend past the floorboards. Appear to be well-made, improving the appearance of the bike and offering added protection in the (hopefully unlikely) event of a spill.

I bought this engine guard for my V- star they were very easy to put on, a extra pair of hands were very helpful. Start with the bottom bolts first. I am a new rider and was very glad I put these on it gave me a better sence of security. I love them

I like the look of these bars over the OEM Yamaha bars. They're bigger and offer more protection to both the bike and your legs.

Along with the windshield, this was my first addition to the bike. I am considered "vertically challenged" and I didn't want to hurt my bike if I dropped it.
