Quality of the chrome looks good, and the material the guard is made from is heavy duty. Installation was easy. These guards work perfectly for the style of bags I purchased. They keep the bags away from all moving parts and did not deform with loaded bags (laptop computer on one side, and a gym bag and lunch bag on the other). Very pleased with the product. The ease of installing and removing the bags and guards is nice as I intend on using them only if taking overnight trips.

At first I only had the saddle bags and to my miss guided planning I rubbed a hole in one of my bags. Plus these keep my bags out where they belong, and you do not even see them
