Contrary to previous reviews, this accessory will not fit my bike unless I purchase longer cables. Even trying to route the cables to the back of the tree does not work.

This is a nice piece of kit and well made. I went to put it on my bike and decided I didn't like the look of it. I'd have to remove the rubber seal to make it fit and I didn't want to do that either. ...

Fits perfectly - easy to install - doesn't look fantastic when the saddlebags are not on the bike, but they have to be there to keep the bags out of the wheels.
No problems so far after a year of use ...

Biker Gear Australia - large leather saddlebags.
Great cheap bags for the bike - nice and roomy - don't much like getting wet and have distorted a bit after a year with moderate use.
