The mounting bracket went on easily and after some minor adjustments the fairing could be put on and taken off in just seconds. The 9"windscreen was a little lower than it should be for me, but I'm having my seat redone so it should fit just about right after that. I also ordered the lower wind screens for this fairing and am sure they will add not only to the looks of the bike, but to the wind screening as a whole. Great stuff!!! I contacted Memphis shades and they claim an installation of their Lowers ($80 for the plastics and mounts) alleviates the problem as it stems from wind off the ground and not wind coming over the screen. Having purchased a taller screen already, I'm currently trying to swap the items. We'll see. Totally changes the look of the bike. For those who don't like the look of a windscreen but also don't like having their head ripped off by the wind on longer rides, this is the answer. Good lines and my painter is going to match the custom job on my bike to this new addition for only $150. Easy enough to get on and off, and the mounts on the bike are noticeable when the fairing is off but not overbearing so you can still ride screenless when you choose. See the below review I made on the 5" windscreen. I like the look of the short screen. Good lines, blocks a lot of the wind... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Absolutely no issue when mounting the batwing on bike with the Hondaline driving lamps. Top of batwing is about 2" above handlebars and very close to them.
