(5 stars) reviewed on 09/13/04 byDavid (davidasc) from Cypress, TX, United States, for a 1999 1100 V-Star Custom wrote: Added these to add lowers. Wasn't sure if they would fit with my National Cycle wind shield, but they did and were very easy to install. They are in front of the turn signals, but atleast that way they do not hit my engine guard. Addidng the Lowers made a tremendous difference in comfort riding at high speeds. You can tell the difference at lowers speeds too, but they removed most of the wind buffeting at high speeds. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. (3 stars) reviewed on 11/08/03 byWilliam (doc17) from Willow Grove, PA, United States, for a 2003 1100 V-Star Custom wrote: I installed these lowers myself and I am NOT mechanical. I had heard many state they had problems putting them on. What I did was move my shield brackets all the way up. Put the lower brackets at the very bottom then bring down the shield brackets. This does put the lowers right in front of the turn signals which will be a problem for all but the clear lowers. Hope this helps someone. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
