I had the brackets and windshield mounted in about 10 minutes. They allow the windshield to be remove very easily (but not so easily that it will fall off). Definitely a must have if you aren't sure you'll like the windshield. Don't worry once you take these off it will still look good as it polishes up real nice underneath. As a word of advice make sure you know what ur getting into because things can happen to make it very difficult if you never done it before. Id tell u about i don't wanna write a book.
