Necessary for memphis fats on an 05 F. Be CAREFUL and mount the bracket as low as possible on the fork to start then move it up gradually taking care to notice how close the Bracket comes to the tank as you hard turn the handle bars. if you mount the bracket too high up the fork, you will hit the tank with your bracket and surely loss some paint.
