Just bought these as my orignal ones actually cracked! I think then new ones are great as I wanted my windshield to be more foward and I was able to achieve that with the new brackets which are quick release as well! Nice upgrade.

Had to get this with the windshield (obviously.) For my bike the install was easy and blended well with the existing chrome. Didn't use the right lock-tight and lost one bolt after riding for over 10 hours to the east coast. My fault not the bolts.

    The cutout for the headlight is 8.5 inches not 9......... are we talking the same windshield.
    Also how is height measured from the top tp bottom, or from top to the top of the cutout.......
