I haven't done any long ride with them since I got them. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that they will potentially block my hypercharger. But I'm going to give 'em a try next long ride. I can say it's nice not to get so wet when getting caught in the rain. UPDATE: They really do drastically reduce the wind coming up--but it's a double edged sword. Although you get substantially less buffeting and remain very dry in the rain, if you're riding when it's hot and you've got a big windscreen/faring, you've reduced the wind to almost ZERO and it can get real hot, real fast in the summer time. When I was out on a trip I had to take them off because I no longer had any wind to cool me down with my gear on.
