Have read good reviews which lead to this purchase decision. Ran Metzeler's (and Pirellis's)on my CBR for years and never had any complaints. Don't expect any with this set. I could tell the difference between this tire and the stock Bridgestone which came on my bike as soon as I got a couple miles down the road. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 11/29/05 bySeaking (Seaking) from , , for a 0 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: Bought at same time as the rear wheel ME880 170/80-15 to match up the wheels. Less than 100 kms on the tires and already know that these are superior to the stock D404s that came with the bike. These tires want to ignore road snakes and you do get that confident feel that the bike will go where you want it to go regardless of what the road tries to make you go in (can you get we have less than perfect roads here). Deep tread design on both front and rear ME880s. When people were praising these tires, I now know why! ADDEMDUM: Wow, now these tires last a long time and still ride nicely. Currently have 43,000 kms (28,000 miles) on the front tire with a lot of tread left to finish the season and start next year's season. My next tired? You betcha, ME 880!
