Have 6500 miles on and still plenty of tread left. I hope to get 11,000 miles out of them. My Royalstar never has handeled this good. Love these tires!! The tread pattern alternates direction so that the bike no longer gets pulled into those longitudinal grooves and cracks in the pavement. The problem is magnified on the Marauder because of the wide front tire. Other instant improvements: - Much, much lighter steering. Get used to leaning again to initiate turns, rather than relying on heavy counter-steer. - Shorter stopping distances. - Improved gas mileage. EXCELLENT TIRE ! I have had Dunlops and Bridgestones and they didn't last 10K each. I have had two sets of these ME880s and they each have done over 10K. Just bought my 3rd set. I bought my first set after a friend hit a piece of steel on the highway at 90 and the tire stayed together enough to let him come to a stop. You can't argue with that type of success.
