(1 stars) reviewed on 05/12/11 bySteve (something) from Perth, Australia, , Australia, for a 2007 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: This is my second front tyre from Metzeler - the first one was out-of-round and not straight, this one, the second one, is not straight and moves 5 mm from side to side. The Metzeler reps and the tyre shop who fitted the tyre say that the tyre is fine and there is nothing wrong with it - however it does not feel 'straight'. Apparently because this is a German made tyre there can be nothing wrong with it. The quality control from Metzeler is poor and they have not been able to tell me what their tolerance levels are for their tyres. Would not buy again in a pink fit. Sure, they look great and really made a huge difference to the appearance of the bike, however tyres do need to perform a primary function and looks are secondary. (4 stars) reviewed on 04/01/06 byJustin (ShortbusKid) from Everett, WA, United States, for a 2004 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: They look great. Still in the break-in period, but they ride fine thus far. One down side to ordering these online is that it cost around $140 to get them mounted by a local shop.
