Nice wider look, still considering the big wheel kit though and the 240 rear.

There are 5 things that I would get to improve the comfort of the ride and make VTX even more the premier cruiser in the world. In order of importance: 1. Progressive suspension fork springs - changing out the stock springs softens the front end to an absolute dream level and allows for much more control, especially on turns 2. Metzeler ME 880s - much better traction, less noise and better grip on any surface under any condition compared to the horrible stock Dunlops...what an amazing difference this made 3. Mustang dual seats with backrest - this or the corbins are a significant comfort upgrade from the stock seats 4. 4-6" handlebar risers - brings the bars to a much more comfortable riding position, an absolute must 5. Progressive suspension rear shocks - although the "Active Systems" Inertia shocks are much better and probably worth the extra $200, the gas charged ones are still a significant upgrade from the stocks

This is the approved "upgraded" metz for the rear of the VTX. It is visibly a much larger tire than was originally on the bike. It certainly changes the "look" from the back of the bike dramatically. I had my stock Dunlops replaced while at Americade in Lake George NY last month. I must honestly say that the improvement of the metz over the dunlop is noticable immediately. The handling is far better, and the bike actually feels like it weighs considerable less than it did before. If you want to maximize the performance and handling of your VTX, these tires will change how you feel about your bike.
